主要應用于溫度為100 ～ 300℃、壓力為1MPa ～ 20MPa 條件下利用水溶液中物質化學反應所進行的合成反應。在亞臨界和超臨界水熱條件下,由于反應處于分子水平, 反應性提高, 因而水熱反應可以替代某些高溫固相反應。
